Wowzer, now that the clocks have changed we seem to be slipping further and faster into those dark winter nights which I oh so love. If you ask me, London gets it’s romantic on in these cold snugly evenings and it means its dark enough to party in the early hours of the evening. Hence November’s early evening Yoga Jam at Lancaster Gate. If you haven’t already booked your tickets – what are you waiting for??! Click here. Or here. Or here!
We had a fantastic opportunity to present on the Main Stage of the Yoga Show at the Olympia last weekend and Emma and Andreas shoed off some pretty advanced acroyoga to the yoga beats of the So What Project – our cousins in Argentina who are leading the way when it comes to raving it up with a natural yogic high. London, very appropriately, following suit with our oh so spectacular Yoga Jam crew.
Speaking of whom – A special congratulations to our very own Dr Chris Odedun of mtmu who added a whole extra 4 letters to his title. So proud! He’s putting that MRCP to excellent use and making us a wicked mix for Sunday’s Yoga Jam. Thank you Chris. And a very warm welcome to Andreas Birkeland, our newest addition to the crew – He’s a dazzling international full time YES+ teacher from Art of Living Norway and brings with him his countless years of Ashtanga and Sri Sri Yoga to take The Yoga Jam up a notch. My words won’t do justice – Come down for high end cuddles from the current two best boys in the biz.
Our beautiful Emma from Kanga will be coming from her ends up east after the Kanga dance yoga workshop at the Elise in Dalston. If you are a yoga bunny residing in the east end, DEFINITELY check out Kanga and the sessions Emma runs all week at www.kangaevents.com. Jonny’s been prepping our musicians in satsang- you know how we do. And Sachin and I will be limbered up after a blissful 90 minutes of Sri Sri Yoga, just before the Yoga Jam. The next Sri Sri Yoga course starts at Lancaster Gate on November 11th and the details are on the ‘WE LOVE’ page of the blog. (Hands down, the best yoga I’ve ever experienced in my life).
With our event sponsors Pukka Tea (the most devine Ayurvedic teas around) and Nakd Bars (the most awesome raw, vegan, gluten free, wheat free, bars of deliciousness), this weekend’s Yoga Jam is supporting Akosia and proceeds raised on the night will go to support their great causes.
We’ve all been missing you so can’t wait to see you at The Yoga Jam this Sunday 4th November 5.30-8.30pm, Lancaster Gate. Seriously, book if you haven’t already. Come down for the most blissful yoga of your life to hand-picked beats, Sri Sri ‘s meditations and dancing to the bhajans. Sound and silence, movement and stillness. All for a great cause.
